I thought I wouldn’t be able to participate in this week’s photo challenge due to work and preparation for our upcoming trip. It’s been 11 months since I last traveled. Ahhh…The longing to travel.. anyway, that’s another story! Now back onto the DailyPost’s weekly photo challenge: Renewal. Yup my friends it’s a snake! Ancients believed that these creepy creatures were immortal. Snakes shed their skin and crawl out of their own body in their own elegant display of being reborn.

This was shot at KL Tower basement mini zoo.

Great interpretation of the theme! I should have thought of it.

I like how the snake is half-in/out of the water, very much like it is slipping out of one state and into another.
